RASES involves two institutions: University of Genova and Ecole Centrale de Nantes. Two departments of University of Genova are involved: Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics, and Systems Engineering (DIBRIS) and Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management and Transportation Engineering (DIME).
The University of Genova and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes collaborate since many years in joint educational projects through EMARO+, Erasmus Mundis Joint Master Degree on Advanced Robotics, an integrated Master course with the participation of four European Universities and associated partners: Ecole Centrale de Nantes - France (coordinator), Warsaw University of Technology - Poland, University of Genova - Italia, Jaume I University, Spain. Recently, they have become partners of JEMARO, Japan-Europe Master on Advanced Robotics - an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree starting in 2020.
In the last years, these collaborations are complemented by research joint projects, in which the University of Genova and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes cooperate for designing robots and autonomous systems for real-time intervention in earthquake scenarios.
